From 7 to 9 p.m., people were loading up their carts, but when the cards began showing limits again around 9, one woman was detained because she rang up a bill of $700.00 and only had .49 on her card. She was held by police until corporate Walmart said they wouldn't press charges if she left the food.

If she had checked out earlier, the $700 charge would presumably have been approved.

Who would have eaten the loss? Walmart? The gubmint? The gubmint's contractor? Or the bitch, in the unlikely event she had $700 in seizable assets?

I have seen exactly ONE black and less than 10 Hispanics at my Wal-Mart. We do have a lot of Native Americans though but mostly white people.
