Whatever we’re doing we should stop and do it different, because the NYT says so ...

“What’s concerning is a select few groups trying to turn that fire inward on the Republican Party. And that is not helpful.”

Actually, it's very helpful. It is exposing the enormity of the problem of establishment left-wing big government types within the GOP that want to aid this regime's agenda. That exposure and defeating them completely is the goal.

Not so fast there, Times. By 2014 election time, Obamacare will have even further pi**ed people off and quashed the economy. Them may be desperate to get the dems out.

IMO, in 2014, ZeroCare will sink the Dems in the House AND Senate. Despite repeated polls showing that ~70% of taxpayers DID NOT WANT ZeroCare, the politicians controlling each house (Pelousy and Read) bribed, cajoled and threatened their Dem members to pass the pig.

If I am correct, this rooster will come home to perch in the Dem seats in the mid-terms and the ‘Pubbies/Tea Partiers will control BOTH houses of our crappy Congress.

(It is debatable if this will be an improvement. The best we can hope for is that zero will be forced to deal with the people he openly despises during his last 2 years in office and maybe - God willing - hopefully, he will finally be impeached. I said hopefully!)

If the GOP was losing, why is the story on the front page?

Pure propaganda.

We are more than a year away from the next election. Did the Times predict 1994, 2002, or 2010 when we were only one day away? Why would we care what they think now?

Says the NY Times. Since they are among the worst sources of news and opinion, who cares?

According to my 2012 election analysis, Republicans were riding high in the Senate until after the convention. After that, they went limp and failed to put any kind of national unified message together.

McConnell and the National Republican Senatorial Committee failed to build a national ticket, and left each candidate to drift in the winds of their own states.

If Republicans fail to retake the Senate in 2014, it won't be because of Cruz or the Tea Party, it will be because of weak and invisible leadership. Given that McConnell is in a primary fight of his own, don't expect him to be the braintrust behind a national "retake the Senate" movement.

If McConnell loses his primary race, expect him to behave like all of his colleagues before him. Expect McConnell to refuse to endorse the winner, and refuse to support what it will take to retake the Senate.

Take the Senate with which republicans..?
Some republicans are little better than democrats some are as bad..

A RINO exodus from the Senate is a good thing...
Electing another RINO in their place is meaningless..

If the election was next Tuesday I might agree with the headline, but considering it’s 13 months away the headline (and the polls) aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on. For instance, 13 months before the 2012 election, Obama was losing by 10 points to a “generic Republican”...

Wonder how many RINOs will fall for NYT Spin?

GOP not going to win unless they run solid conservative candidates that bring out the conservative base.
