In parts of New Mexico children have no choice but to wait for their school bus inside of cages. These kid cages are the result of government agencies abuse of the Endangered Species Act. The United States Fish & Wildlife Service has placed wolves in populated areas where they have become an economic burden for small business owners, infringed upon private property rights, burdened taxpayers with management costs, and placed fear in the hearts of those who have to deal with them on a daily basis.

I have to agree with Code-bears are omnivorous-they are opportunists. I would not want to count on a bear not being carnivorous-or even hungry for that matter-people get killed that way. I don’t live in bear country now, but I do carry pepper spray and a big stick when I hike in the woods for anything else.
There is a balance in the natural world that God put there, but some people keep screwing with it and bitching when they get hurt
“rattlesnake”
Excellent point. More kids are bit by snakes than eaten by Wolves. I don’t see these drama queens putting their kids in snake proof cages.
That is your decision to make.
These people made theirs and do not deserve criticism for it.
Most people want to keep their kids safe.
From the way the kids are dressed, I’d almost bet they aren’t wearing hiking boots or other shoes with closed toes either-AKA sensible footwear for outside the mall or back yard.
“These people made theirs and do not deserve criticism for it.Most people want to keep their kids safe. “
Really? You just played the “Its for the Chiiilren” card? What a liberal!
They do deserve criticism for it and lots of it. Such stupid antics deserve ridicule wherever it is shown to exist. This isn’t keeping their kids safe from anything. It is abusing the kids as political props.
That is your opinion and you are entitled to it.
Calling ma a liberal is very stupid, I will consider the source.
Michelle and I would like to thank you for your efforts to support your Federal Government’s program to reintroducing child eating preditors into populated areas. We both agree that providing children with these wolf thwarting enclosures is counter-productive and helps defeat the objectives of the program. Just a few mauled or eaten children and we will be able to convince many families to move from areas best given back to nature to inexpensive, green, living quarters in other beautiful locations throughout the country such as beautiful, safe downtown Detroit Michigan or South Central Los Angeles. So please keep up the good work.
Where? Apparently across the street from me because for a little while there was one living there eating the wild hogs.
Your sarcasm, while somewhat funny, isn’t based in reality.
You are claiming children in States with wolves cannot go outside for any reason, oh, wait, they can, just when the parents need news coverage of their political props called children being put into cages.
When was the last child to be attacked by a wolf in broad daylight? Never?
There are ways to protest wolves without using your children in such retarded political means.
“Calling ma a liberal is very stupid, I will consider the source.”
And I’ll consider you as someone that supports abusing children as political props, a liberal.
“Where in Florida is there 100 square miles of wilderness?”
Half of Florida is wilderness. Are you saying with Florida being 50% populated we should kill all wild animals in Florida? Hell, that would mean killing just about every animal in North America.
If you are that afraid of animals then keep to the concrete cities and the stay of zoos and pet shelters.
Panthers and wolves are different. Panthers kill to eat and dont hunt humans. Wolves are pack animals and will kill anything just for the fun.
Did you actually watch the video??? These enclosures are not a “political” tool... they are shelters that children can be safe in should they feel threatened by wolves. This is a common sense approach. You painting concerned parents and others here as liberals is crazy. Admitedly, in a perfect world all of the children would be able to take their rifles with them on the school bus, but in this day and age that is probably not going to happen.

God: You really are an idiot.
“When was the last child to be attacked by a wolf in broad daylight? Never?”
Never is a long time. You are certainly wrong.
Just a year or so ago a woman in Alaska was attacked while jogging. Forensics showed she was still alive while they were pulling her guts out and eating her.
By the way, that woman shot the wolf as it was attacking. She was bow hunting but had the handgun with her. Good thing she was prepared or she would be dead.
” You are certainly wrong. Just a year or so ago a woman...”
So? A man was attacked and bitten by a bear just down my street when he went to put his garbage out, but we aren’t pussies calling for children to be locked in cages waiting for the school bus in a vain attempt to use our children to call attention to the wolf population.
We had a couple attacked by a bear at a camping site not far from here but we aren’t locking up campers into cages in a vain attempt to demand the killing of bears.
Just how far do you want natural happenings to cause us all to lose our freaking minds and overreact and use children to make political statements? If you are that scared to go into nature then live in a concrete box and leave the rest of us the Hell alone.
If anyone has done any harm to the kids it has been their stupid parents locking them in cages and telling them they had better hide or else the wolves will get them all in the name of making political statements.
I also asked when was the last time a CHILD was attacked. You responded about a woman jogging alone. You never have been that bright.
