Debt Ceiling: China Calls for World to Be 'De-Americanised'
International Business Times ^ | October 13, 2013 | Jijo Jacob

China's official news agency has called for the creation of a "de-Americanised world", saying the destinies of people should not be left in the hands of a hypocritical nation with a dysfunctional government.

Heaping criticism and caustic ridicule on Washington, the Xinhua news agency called the US a civilian slayer, prisoner torturer and meddler in others' affairs, and said the 'Pax Americana' was a failure on all fronts.

The official news agency of China, which is seen as the pretender to the world's superpower crown, then rubbed in more salt, calling American economic pre-eminence just a seeming dominance.

"As US politicians of both political parties are still shuffling back and forth between the White House and the Capitol Hill without striking a viable deal to bring normality to the body politic they brag about, it is perhaps a good time for the befuddled world to start considering building a de-Americanised world," the editorial said.

It asks why the self-declared protector of the world is sowing mayhem in the financial markets by failing to resolve political differences over key economic policy.

How many of Obama’s people have publicly praised Mao? This regime has red all over it so I am not surprised the Chinese feel empowered to say this (in the article), since they have a pal in the Spite House.

I agree. Cut every penny of US foreign aid, remove the UN from our soil and stop payments to them. End support of the world bank.

The next world natural disaster, look to China to fund assistance.

Obama’s lesson in losing face ".......Yet, with “about-face” after “about-face” on Syria by the U.S. president these past weeks and his inability to prevent the partial shutdown of the U.S. federal government, the view from Asia of recent American leadership — whether presidential or congressional — is not necessarily a positive one. That does not bode well for the so-called pivot, or rebalance in U.S. policy, toward Asia, ............"

“To a commie democracy is dysfunctional. “

I am going to say that yes the world needs to be de Americanized and add that America needs to be de Americanized.

Today, America has become a debt addict worse than any druggie on the street. This must stop.

A large percentage of americans (and possibly a slim majority) would rather receive a welfare check than a paycheck. This must stop.

In America, being on TV is more important than being a good human being who is not on TV, even if you have to eat worms to be on TV, it is better than not being on TV.

The top personal tax rate in the USA is higher than the top rate in either China or Russia.

In the USA, it is more important to have stuff to show off to your neighbors than to toil in obscurity and be debt free.

When you elect a man who is a joke, this is what you get.

America if falling, and it's because half of the voting public is simply too stupid to live in a world power. We're being defeated from within.

They are empowered because its all part of the plan. Clinton sets up China as our manufacturing shop and debt holder. Obama destroys what’s left of the economy. Then, the Chinese can, in indignant righteousness, denounce us before the whole world as lazy slackers who can’t even pay our debts.

Unfortunately, when they say this, it does apply to a majority of Americans (mostly hyphenated Americans, but the rest of the world doesn’t make that distinction). If they can succeed in making OPEC stop selling oil in dollars, then we are screwed (since the LIVs think that drilling for oil in America destroys the planet, but drilling for it in Saudi is just fine).

“To a commie democracy is dysfunctional.“

Democracies are dysfunctional!

Democracy is merely tyranny in the first trimester.

We used to be a constitutional republic and we fared well. The more democratic we became, in both pronouncement and deed, the less well we fared.

Our fate, tyranny, is nigh at hand.

Let’s put a 100% tariff on Chinese imports to the U.S. and see how they do then!

Well, in a way, China is funding the American assistance during world natural disasters. China does lend many billions of dollars each year to the U.S. to fund our government programs, and some of those programs would not exist without the borrowed funds, so, indirectly, China is "giving" to help in natural disasters. Can the U.S. afford giving as we do? No. But we do, and we couldn't without the borrowed funds and the printed funds, and we toss all deficit spending into our national debt.

Face it, they are right.

I only wish we could turn our congress critters and the dork-O-dent over to them for use in one of their internment camps.

They are slime.

When our end becomes obvious and the riots start, I trust that we will guard all exits to the country so that we can catch and do what is necessary to all of these criminals.

Although that's true it isn't confined to just Americans. Jealousy and pride are universal human traits that came into being as an integral part of mankind's sinful human nature that we all inherited from Adam. I'm pretty sure that those same human traits are present even in the least civilized tribes of the Amazon basin.

Still, a democratic republic.

A vote weightage based on taxpayer contribution makes sense to me, and welfare recepients mustn’t be allowed to vote. But, can this fly?

I thought China had stopped buying US treasuries? They still hold some, but I think they have gotten their fill of buying any more. With good reason.

I'm sure the President will soon inform China that most favored nation trade status is a privilege, not a right.

But I will not hold my breath.
