George Will in the Hume seat today. I remember when he was the most (only?) conservative voice on a Sunday show, before the age of cable news. Just an illustration of how weak is the conservative attempt at conveying a real message.
Maybe George will note the absence of any meaningful conservative voice on the so-called “conservative network” and begin veering back to his roots. Or not.

If you have read Georgie Will you will know he is a moderate at best. He is from the Romney wing of the Party and has written against Palin and those types.

And maybe his roots were only ever Beltway deep. A comfortable gig to be the voice of conservative opinion, in fact, only as rightwing as an establishment liberal Republican. Not a William Buckley or a Tony Snow, for example.
