I hate to even discuss this topic. If it were up to me I would still be prosecuting the dems on Benghazi and the bribery of Morsi. Both of which lead to impeachment and hold no jeopardy for us.Seems that ship and any political capital we had on it have sailed....

The Reps should be saying that the employer mandate should be enforced under the law. No exceptions. The only problem is the GOP’s corporate paymasters want the delay.
The problem is GOPe doesn’t want to get rid of kenyancare. They want to “fix” it and get the K Street payola to do it.
Do you think all those businesses that dumped their employees health care costs onto obamacare exchanges will jump at the chance to start providing employee health care again? Not a chance. They will pay prostitutes like Bob Corker and Kelly Ayotte to continue government run health care system.
I am afraid the socialized medicine genie is out of the bottle.
They have to stay on the Obamacare mandate and for the people. Forget the Beltway gimmicks and go for the heart. Let them veto the people’s mandate again and again.

We have long been on our way to socialized medicine. Medicare and Medicaid paved the way. Obamacare was just the last piece of the puzzle.

So (setting tin foil hat on head as I type), was the EBT ‘glitch’ a test run, just to see how upset the sheeple will get if Obummer decides to not fund them to cause maximum ‘pain’? NPS just tested to see if they’ll follow his orders against the American people .... you know TSA/DHS will for sure. How about all the top ranking military folks being canned .... what’s up with that? Sure, there’s a reasonable explanation for it all, but I NEVER thought I would see the country in this sort of shape, something as horrendous as Obamacare in place, and all of this other “stuff” seemingly converging around the CR/debt ceiling “crisis” being manufactured by the regime.
Ok (taking off tin foil hat) .... it’s raining here and I think I’ll go eat some ice cream and do a little crocheting to get the BP back down to high normal.

Both parties want Big Government and more spending. They would rather kick the can down the road until we are paying a trillion dollars a year in debt servicing costs. Nothing happens until a crisis occurs.

I heard this one before and it's worth repeating. Obama is telling WWII Vets that they are not welcome on what he thinks belongs to him.
69 years ago a beach full of Germans tried telling those same guys the same thing. It didn't work out well for the Germans either. Obama has been pushing around career politicians for a long time. The Vets are not politicians, and they don't have the expectation that they will be in DC for years to come. He's playing in a different league now, and the sooner he gets back to people like him (intellectually challenged, emotionally immature) the better his game will be.

You mean reverting to the way he sounded when he was running for senator the first time? One would have thought he was going to change parties then, he sounded so pro-conservative-issues.
His voting record does not, of course, bear this out!
Just happened to notice Newt on Schieffer’s SeeBS show. He and the columnist from WSJ, Kimberly Strassel, were kickin’ the asses of the two lefties on the panel about the shutdown and who’s got the edge. Schieffer was beside himself, struggling to heap blame on the Tea Party.
