I live in St. Mary’s County and I wish we could secede with them,. I am pretty sure the Eastern Shore would like to also.

Maryland is ruled by the Democrats in Central meryland around Prince Georges, Montgomery, Howard and Baltimore County and city. Central Maryland the land of entitlements.

I went to college in Frostburg. People in western Maryland feel disconnected from the rest of Maryland. Western Maryland is a very different place socially, economically, politically. People there feel they have more in common with neighboring West Virginia than the rest of Maryland.

There has been talk of this happening in a few other states too.

I live in Washington co. I wish we could keep our state and let the garbage in the center rename themselves. The map would look kinda weird but it does allready. Lol.

St. Mary’s is beautiful. Maybe your county and mine, Kent, could join some others in forming the state of Eastern Maryland.
