Yeah not to sound ignorant but I didn’t know there was even one city in Iowa much less four. Shouldn’t it be the “Quad-Medium Sized Towns” area?

But I think there needs to be some 'tamping-down'. Doing that will take millions of individuals defending themselves effectively in these situations.
Pretty much; I hadn't been there since the late 1960's, so when I made a trip to Silvis around 1990, I could not believe how the older parts of the Quad Cities had rotted away. It only got worse in subsequent years. On the infrequent spousal drag-me-alongs, I go over there with the attitude of a reluctant schlub who is made to dash through the primate cage at a really weird small zoo.
My dad (80+) says the Quad Cities (I think they were the "Tri-Cities" back then) were always rough and dirty, but relatively safe to be in back in the day. He and his brothers thought nothing of hitchhiking in and walking around until thumbing their way back home. Hell, today they'd be in imminent danger of any number of things. Thank goodness today's America is so much more tolerant and civilized, eh?

Having lived through the race riots in Chicago in the early 60’s I can say from personal experience that you are wrong.
I was living in an apartment building and the black thugs came into the building just to see who they could attack.
I don’t expect any more civil behavior during these days either.
I think that many young black men in America have been conditioned to believe that they are involved in a kind of unnamed jihad against American civilization. Such is the product of the hatred of the White man taught them by their society from an early age.
One need look no further than Obama's own church (TUCC) for evidence of this.

Yes, in effect the political and social leadership group (politicos and preachers and now ‘entertainers’ ) preach this toxic message openly. Half century ago the message to young AA’s was ‘be model Americans, be better Americans than those who oppose civil rights’. To a significant degree this happened and it had some psychological effect on white people throughout the South, even the very deep South. Today there is often as large a chasm between older blacks (65+) and the under 30 generation as there is between white people and the black ‘yout’ population. Young blacks today remind me of the most stupid and retrograde elements of the SA and the HJ. Incredibly vicious and soulless thugs with no redeeming virtues.
