...Travis Lingle said he had ditched his car for a Wednesday evening stroll to a local video store for exercise, when on the way home, six young men darted out from behind Adams Elementary School and jumped him on the school grounds.
They surrounded Lingle, hurtling insults before landing blows to his head. He said he tried to escape by running to West 29th Street, even jumping over a parked car.
He couldn't outrun them. He said they had him on the ground in the middle of the street, punching and kicking him and pulling his T-shirt up over his head...

Lingle gave descriptions of his attackers to police, although he said the incident happened so fast he couldn't get a good look at them. The men ranged in age from 16 to 25, and Lingle thinks one of them had a beard. None of them had any unusual marks or tattoos.
Duh! Not a word about the attackers' race. Amish, I presume.
