However it looks like the reworked hi capacity magazine ban went through. Which was targeted at old grandfathered magazines and “rebuild kits.”

Although after initial readings, I don’t see that it is written in a way that specifies you can’t sell to CA addresses. “causes to be manufactured” might be what they tried to use for selling...

Anyway after July 14 next year, even the old grandfathered magazines will be illegal it seems. I’m sure everyone will turn them in. Guess we’ll be seeing pmags for $100 again pretty quick here.

AB 48 will likely be challenged as an unconstitutional taking (5th Amendment). On the other hand, it’s unenforceable; so it may be a little hard to prove that it’s actually damaged someone’s rights.
