There are a lot of Republicans in CA.
That being said, about 2 years ago I sat next to one on a flight and we started talking politics. He was an older Republican white male and he thought obama was doing a good job. Opened my eyes to CA “Republicans”

That’s the same in New England or should I say the north east.
I’ve met many of them when I worked up there.
California is a one-party state like most New England states. Republican or democrat is just a generic label in California and many other states. These politicians exist to get our vote in order to bring home our money to Washington, D.C. for their purposes.
