Not to mention earthquakes, mudslides and wildfires. I was there for a few months and it does have some great features but I never could get over the ground suddenly shaking and my office slightly moving. Visiting the mountains I prayed driving through every tunnel that an earthquake didn’t strike while I was in there. Just funny like that. I realize the whole state doesn’t have all those problems but in LA it was scary.

allowing for non-physicians such as nurses to perform the abortion procedure....

This sounds discriminatory. What about the rights to perform these procedures by Janitors, Cleaning Women, and so forth?

Like all medical procedures, abortions can lead to complications. When the left was fighting to making abortions legal, their argument was the need to take abortions out of the hands of nonprofessional.

We have come full circle.

If abortions were dangerous then, they are dangerous now.

I predict more woman will die or suffer major complications now that just about anyone can and will perform abortions.

I know they claim only nurses or midwifes will do the procedure but in today’s liberal climate do you think anyone will ever check on just who are performing these abortions?

They do not enforced the law now, why would they do it in the future.

Gov Brown is to sign in some of the most sweeping gun control legislation ever. It makes NY’s SAFE act look tame in comparison.

“Gov Brown is to sign in some of the most sweeping gun control legislation ever.”

He doesn't even have to sign the bills for them to become law. All he has to do is not veto them by October 14th then the bill becomes law by default. After that on 1/1/14 any semiautomatic center-fire rifle or shotgun with a detachable magazine becomes an assault weapon. Granpa’s M-1 carbine just got promoted to AW status You have until 7/1/15 to register. The legislature removed rim fires so the 10/22 is safe for now.

The problem with Cali is that they are so overwhelmingly liberal, they can “export” hundreds of thousands of libs to other states, turning them blue, and Cali is still solid for them.

Nothing new here. The californicaters just getting back to their pre-war methods of disposing of troublemakers, defectives, coloreds, prostitutes and all other manner of undesirables. Maybe you have to be old enough to remember how tough california was on “special” people? It won’t be long before Brownie rations one square of TP per sit-down-—with hiway bill boards reminding to save the middle for a fingernail cleaner. Just like Venezuela.

There really are "two Americas" now.

In one state, Texas, it was a near civil war to pass an abortion bill that prevents a woman from killing her unborn baby after 20 weeks
AND mandates that the doctor performing the procedure have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.

The only reason the debate became so heated is because there was an enormous amount of outside pressure AND money coming in from out of state. It made Wendy Davis such a hero to the left that they have persuaded her to run for Governor.
Similar to the union fight in Wisconsin.

In another state, Kalifornia, abortion rights are CELEBRATED. Hell, your next door neighbor can do it for you!

I've lived here all my life. My home state is barely recognizable to me anymore. Every destructive influence liberals have unleashed on our society thrives here. It's still a beautiful state, but it is being destroyed by the socialists in Sacramento and an invasion of illegals from the south.

It’ll keep the liability lawyers busy once the carnage starts.

Under Federalism, North Dakota can outlaw abortion, and California can mandate it.

Good God, for women who just refuse to give up their “right” to a dead baby... can’t they just download images of one off Google as a next-best thing?

There really are "two Americas" now.

And the "good America" is shrinking rapidly.

It is known that Jerry Brown was raised a Roman Catholic.

Not sure if he is still a practicing Catholic.

Like other pro choice Catholics like Pelosi, John Kerry and the Kennedy’s, When is the Roman Catholic Church Leadership going to get serious about reprimanding these Catholics??

Is my Roman Catholic Church THAT obsessed with social and economic justice or THAT infiltrated with lefties that they are THAT blind to a 40 year child holocaust??

Wow... God love ya for your fighting spirit, trying to make a go of it out there. I escaped in 1976 when I joined the Air Force and never lived there again.
