I posted this last night on the thread that discussed the NBC report, but it needs to be seen by some of our talking heads who lurk on here and later report things without looking at the details... So it has it's own thread.
Go to the complete poll PDF on the WSJ web page on page 16 it has the demographics of the poll. 43% of Respondents are Democrats and 32% were Republicans. 44% voted for Obama vs 35% for Romney. And 5% did not know who the voted for? That right there should instantly put this poll in the garbage can!
Furthermore if you look at the poll, it give Obamacare it's best ratings of any poll out there and that is with all the bad press it's been getting even from Obama friendly media sources.

The WSJ and FOX both are owned by Murdoch..though they’re being split into two companies....so WHY does the WSJ do polls with NBC..why not with FOX?
They oversampled government workers. And in the blame game question on the shut down, the question was only Republicans in House vs Obama. Nothing was asked about Democrats in the Senate and whether any blame belonged to DemonRats. Rigged poll but no one should be surprised either.
As soon as I saw NBC was a “partner” who paid for the poll I ignored it. They have no credibility whatsoever. They are not a news organization; they are a purveyor of left wing propaganda.

I’ve stopped blaming the buffoons on Capitol Hill and the White Hut for this government shutdown. The real culprit here is the buffoons responding to these so called polls. The Me Me Me generation wants the pah-tay to continue until America is totally bankrupt and the future of our kids is totally spent. I really don’t shive a git what the low to no information people think. If they want to assign blame for the government shutdown, they need to look at the individual in the mirror. What bribe did the Chicago thugs offer for this phony poll that even Fox News is blasting out this morning? Or what blackmail is taking place? Remember Gen. Petraeus and Chief Justice Roberts. This is how the Left gets their way in the USA.

All I had to do was hear the results to realize it was a set-up. This was a poll to make the RINOs uneasy and try to encourage them to cave.
Like the man said (paraphrase): there are lies, damned lies, and polls.
I for one am reluctact to cry BS on polls.
Especially after last year.

Yah, well, let’s be careful about massaging the polls into a more friendly output. We did the same thing on Romney’s polls and those massagings gave some creative results.
