I was born at the beginning of the Second World War into a family of high school teachers who were members of the Communist Party, and therefore were actually part of a vast conspiracy dedicated to the destruction of this country, although they would never have looked at it that way, and so-called liberals would be the first to deny it.
n those days, the schools were old fashioned enough that my parents did not use their classrooms to indoctrinate students as tens of thousands of university professors and even more K-12 teachers regularly do today. It is also an unhappy but hugely important fact that the conspiracy to which my parents belonged has steadily migrated into the heart of the Democratic Party until it now occupies the Oval Office in the person of our president, Barack Obama, and his closest advisors.

Many great point but I was struck by the last paragraph:
". . The most important battle in the world today is not being waged in the Middle East but here at home in the United States. If we lose this battle, everything is lost. But if we will take the measure of the enemies of freedom and prepare ourselves to fight them, we have a better than even chance to win."
Kudos to Horowitz for writing this. It takes a lot of courage for him to do so. The communists have special revenges in store for their apostates.
His article brought out some ironies. He is correct that with these people it is always about power and nothing but power. It’s been that way ever since Lenin got off the train in St. Petersburg. But in their quest for power, America’s communists have become that which they once detested. Back in the 1930s and 1940s, there were two competing strains of statism at work in the world; fascism and communism. And they absolutely despised each other, even though they sought essentially the same ends. From 1939-1945 those two strains fought a vicious, brutal war of extermination against each other. The communists won that war at a staggering cost.
Today, the American communists, in order to gain power, have become fascists. They sold their ideological souls of Marxism-Leninism to create a state much more like Hitler’s Germany than Stalin’s USSR. And our leftists like Jarrett, Axelrod and Ayres probably don’t realize it. Or care.
I don’t see much difference between the regimes of Hitler and Stalin, except that neo-Nazis at least admit what they are while neo-Socialists try to deny it by calling themselves “progressives” and “liberals” and “Obama.”

We are not led, we are whipped into submission and we will not admit it even to ourselves.
Once, on THIS soil was fired the shot heard 'round the world. It was fired for our freedom and our posterity.
Recently another shot heard 'round the world was fired and it was fired not FOR us, but AT us, and we never returned fire. We chose to allow our nation to die.
This is a Threat Matrix list documenting threats within and without. Anyone wanting on or off please advise.
Concord Hymn
by Ralph Waldo Emerson
By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
Their flag to April’s breeze unfurled,
Here once the embattled farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard round the world.
The foe long since in silence slept;
Alike the conqueror silent sleeps;
And Time the ruined bridge has swept
Down the dark stream which seaward creeps.
On this green bank, by this soft stream,
We set to-day a votive stone;
That memory may their deed redeem,
When, like our sires, our sons are gone.
Spirit, that made those heroes dare
To die, and leave their children free,
Bid Time and Nature gently spare
The shaft we raise to them and thee.

Indeed, and the most insidious part is the motivation to lie to yourself rather than see the tradeoff for the future total control state. It is not an exaggeration that the people are putting on their own chains as they willingly become slaves.
Thanks so much for posting this thread!
This should be required reading for anyone who values freedom and for those of us who need a pathway to stop the destruction of our once great country by the communists who now inhabit the “Spite” house.
Ironic that you call Horowitz a “neocon”.
As we all know, “neocon” = Jew.
So calling Horowitz a neocon is a tautology.
Larry Elder would disagree.
By their deeds shall ye know them. With sadly few exceptions, the GOP-E have become if not full-on Democrats themselves, they are collaborators with the regime. They realize they will never attain power as the Left is trying to do, so they will content themselves fighting over the scraps from Odinga's table.
The question is, is Obama a weakling and a bully, who will, at the end of the day, be content with slapping around pathetic Republicans, or is he a Leninist who will, when the stars align, go for the gold?
The reason the Left is so scared right now is that a) they probably think he's going for it, and, b) with a rifleman behind every blade of grass, they can't know the outcome.
The solution is eradication...... nothing less
I read this yesterday: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3077240/posts
Methinks this article should be required reading in high school.

Not just one event, though.
Look for the trifecta to occur:
* A financial panic (not even a collapse, a panic will do);
* Race riots sparked by a high-profile incident;
* Another mass casualty event involving guns.
Either all at once, or in rapid succession.
Can’t see the gif. Is it good or bad?
Reading your post just sent a chill up my spine. It seems you have succinctly identified what the cause of this continued confusion is, and it is rather stunning.
This week was information overload for me, I have to step back and regain some perspective. Your words will be on my mind.
