ORLANDO, Fla. - Many people signing up for health care in Florida through the Affordable Care Act have been shocked when they have to give proof of their credit score before they finish the process.
Anne Packham, one of many people licensed by the state to help people navigate the government's website, said on Tuesday that the credit check occurs so providers can make an educated decision about who to insure.

Let’s recap for the week, shall we.
We find your application will be used for Audit purposes and turned over to LEOs to use at a later date to persecute you.
You must provide credit info. So they have reason to jack your rates thru the roof.
They will use it all combined with data gathered thru the social websites to determine your political affiliation to dictate if you will get that life saving/sustaining procedure or medicine.
Can’t they just claim their bad credit score as a pre-existing condition?!
LOL
Now that’s funny.
Seems logical that if one were denied health insurance based on a poor credit score, one would have a very good case for declining to pay the resultant penalty.
This thing gets more insane every day. Let’s say they will not insure you because of your credit. Do they then Fine you?
State law may be superceded in a roundabout, unobvious way.
If true, this is the most unreported significant news item since a certain something on a blue dress.
Thing is I’ve posted this alot is that for Obamcare to work it depends on automatic withdrawal ....millions of folks are default... IRS, alimony...child support..repos...you name it. So they don’t have a checking account it will get seized. That’s why so many currency exchanges open 24 hours.
It ain't "affordable" if you can't afford it.
Absolutely! LOL!
The whole Obamacare website seems to be mainly a data gathering tool, it’s MAJOR purpose, so that’s what they did up front—gathered minutia of personal data. Problem is the data didn’t head for the solution of finding the best health connection for the searcher and got stuck. Almost as if the programmers had never programmed before.
well they passed it. zer0 signed it. What do you think?
not the point...everyone is insured meanin registered but the issue is the type and depth of coverage
this is the cullin of the herd mechanism weather underground folk alluded to in the 60’s / 70’s
yep is a mining dream for the irs and other related government agencies. People showing up that never showed up before. Hear tell Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and Goofy even signed up.
0DeathCare...what the NSA doesn't know about you, *health*.guv will find out ;-)
Just a timely reminder from the IT world:
Systems run exactly as they are designed to run. No exceptions.
Or like my Mother who pays in cash in full so has no credit.”
Really hard to figure out that ideal spot between too much credit and insufficient credit history because you don’t live on credit, particularly as you age beyond 65 and your score goes down anyway.

Well my Mom is 82 owns her home and does not drive so for her it does not matter, unlike most of us.
Hmmmmmmmm - - - ?
Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black.
(No racial, un-PC pun intended).
OMG... this is hilarious!!! Somebody, please pass the popcorn.
If I hadn’t quit drinking many years ago, I’d be drunk right now.... ROFLMAO
“I ran lots of applicant simulations on my state exchange and never once did credit score come up.”
I don’t know...did you officially register?
