Lindsey Graham Censured Again

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO-S.C.) has reportedly been censured again by one of the state’s largest, most influential Republican party organizations.

Note we said “Republican” Party … not Tea Party.

By a vote of 56-24, the Greenville (S.C.) County Republican reportedly voted to censure Graham this week. News of the censure was first reported by Jeff Quinton of The Quinton Report.

Obviously this wouldn’t be the first time the liberal lawmaker has faced a rebuke from his own party. In fact Graham has been censured by county parties in Chesterfield and Fairfield already this year – by overwhelming majorities. In previous years, he’s been censured by Republicans in Charleston, Lexington and Greenville. In fact many more GOP groups would likely be adopting such resolutions were it not for prohibitions imposed by their leaders.

Graham is running for reelection in 2014. He faces three announced primary opponents – social conservative attorney Richard Cash, S.C. Sen. Lee Bright (R-Spartanburg) and Charleston businesswoman Nancy Mace.

All senators that voted for cloture the other day should be censured.

I’d rather he’d be censored.

How long before he pulls a Crist and jumps ship, while denouncing the Republican party?

Federal officeholders — i.e. senators and congressmen — cannot be recalled. This has been litigated both in federal court (Idaho, 1967) and state court (New Jersey, 2013).

He saw what happend to his “good friend” Arlen Specter. Denied either nomination and then removed from power.

One good thing is that it has shut him up for the most part.

Amazing how elections make it real hard from these clowns to be what they want to be.

First Syria and then the Cruzade against Obamacare has destroyed Graham. He was all high and mighty and arrogant and now he’s nowhere to be found. For all his vaunted “war chest” he’s facing a populace that will likely remove him from power...and he can’t believe it!

That’s what you get for teaming up with Loser McCain. McCain gets to stay in office while you’ll be gone, as Brown is now gone, as Kelly Ayotte will be gone. He’s a parasite.

Can we recall Graham?
IF the 17th Amendment hasn't passed early in 20th Century, the S.C. State...
Legislature could have replace him as in the (1789) U.S. Constitution
short answer: no, unless the S.C. State's Constitution permits it..not the nation @ large.

This is huge. The Greenville Republican Party is the old good old boy party. This means Lindsey Graham will loose the primary. Maybe the party is changing.

>>First Syria and then the Cruzade against Obamacare has destroyed Graham.

Last time, Graham went before the Mexican version of the KKK and called his own constituents ‘bigots’, promising to tell us to ‘just shut up’. He still got re-elected.

Sad to say, but SC has an open primary which means ALL the dhimmis vote in the republican primary (they usually don’t bother to run candidates for state-wide office). With the conservative vote split 3 ways so far, Grahamnesty will probably get the nomination again.
