WMAL radio began the 6:00 p.m ET news with sobs for the women and children impacted by the shutdown, and the fear story that ‘fragile children’ such as asthmatics may not be able to get their medications.

[sniffle. sniffle. Had to go find a tissue.]

Since Medicaid is working, and that’s welfare medical care, those asthmatics should be getting their medication. And if they doesn’t have health care, then they can walk into any emergency room. And if their parents have a health plan, then they should use it.
