It sure does and, considering the source, probably most certainly is.
Because it is.
It almost certainly is spin. A radio report this morning said that the team met a welcoming party when they landed, fought for about an hour and then withdrew. So they were expected. Someone passed on info to the bad guys.

Whatever this story is it doesnt pass the smell test.
Additionally, the Title “pulled out” is Newspeak for “Retreated.”
The mission failed and the team had to retreat.
