If you know of a park that was closed but has been "liberated" by peaceful citizen`s action such as tape or snow fencing cut down, Barrycades moved, or cones removed, please post a thread about it.

Just back from trip to Mt. Vernon. Did not realize they closed the parking because of the shutdown until reading this. It sure didn’t stop people from using the trails. Mt. Vernon was open, and we enjoyed going.

Well it`s like my local park, Cuyahoga Valey TowPath bike trail, I` have referred to it as being “guerrilla opened” by decree of the people.
