Rand did a great job explaining the debt .

In the 5 minute video at the end (@3:50 min ) he explains the amount the US takes in as taxes and we would not default. President must pay the interest on the debt because of the legislation called the full faith and credit act.

For the millionth time: It's not "default".
Default is when you don't pay what's due on your debt. There is more than enough revenue to pay interest on the national debt. Only an incompetent president would allow that to happen.

We are simply reaching our borrowing limit. When your credit card gets maxed out, you only go into default when you stop making payments. Obama has hijacked the debate by changing the name. It's a common Alinsky tactic. Please, please, please don't allow that here.

I agree they are changing the terms and definitions all the time.

But did you watch the Fox News Sunday Panel segment?
George Will pointed out that Jack Lew said he was not going to prioritize - which means that they (Obama or Lew) don’t intend to pay the interest on the debt. (correct me if needed)

As Rand Paul mentioned in his interview the President must pay the interest on the debt because of the legislation called the full faith and credit act. And there are enough taxes coming in to pay it.

I noticed that Lew was unwilling to threaten default. He certainly must realize that default only comes when the president refuses to use revenues to pay interest, and that there is more than enough revenue to do that. Lew may have a grain of integrity mixed in there somewhere.

Unfortunately, Obama has none. With Obama's willingness to lie unceasingly, it would be much harder to do that kind of ass kicking. Besides that, Obama has a willing press to cover for him. I don't think the fight will be this easy.
