Our President has no morals. With great ease, Obama and his Democratic minions are issuing orders to their public worker soldiers to make the lives of every American as torturously difficult as possible to score cheap political points against the GOP faction. A Park Service ranger spoke out against what he called disgusting tactics.
Its a cheap way to deal with the situation, an angry Park Service ranger in Washington says of the harassment. Weve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. Its disgusting.
Via Drudge, The Washington Times reports,
The games politicians play: Barack Obama is having a lot of fun using the government shutdown to squeeze the public in imaginative ways. The point of the shutdown game is to see who can squeeze hardest, make the most pious speech and listen for the applause. Its a variation on the grade-school ritual of you show me yours, and Ill show you mine.President Obama is not a bad poker player, but the man with all the chips always starts with the advantage (and he gets all the aces). He has closed Washington down as tight as he dares, emphasizing the trivial and the petty in making life as inconvenient as he can for the greatest number. Its all in a noble cause, of course. Access to most of the memorials is limited, and often in curious ways. The Lincoln Memorial is easy to reach, with the streets around it remaining open. But the Martin Luther King Memorial is made difficult to reach, relegating it, you might say, to the back of the bus. Not very nice.
The Park Service appears to be closing streets on mere whim and caprice. The rangers even closed the parking lot at Mount Vernon, where the plantation home of George Washington is a favorite tourist destination. That was after they barred the new World War II Memorial on the Mall to veterans of World War II. But the government does not own Mount Vernon; it is privately owned by the Mount Vernon Ladies Association. The ladies bought it years ago to preserve it as a national memorial. The feds closed access to the parking lots this week, even though the lots are jointly owned with the Mount Vernon ladies. The rangers are from the government, and theyre only here to help.

The Republicans, fighting with smaller-bore weaponry, keep trying to get some things reopened with carefully targeted legislation. The Senate, under the thumbs of Sen. Harry Reid and the White House, refuses to budge from the trivial and the petty. It says here that Harry Reids critics, and they are legion, should give the guy a break. No man in Washington is under the pressure he is, and it doesnt seem quite cricket to do that to an old man, even one who deserves it.
Harry is at the breaking point, weary from exhausting his thesaurus for synonyms for arsonist and terrorist and pillager. Everyone could see the cracks in his exchange with Dana Bash, a reporter for CNN, who asked why, if he is concerned about children with cancer who are unable to enter clinical trials for new drugs because Mr. Obama shut down the National Institutes of Health, why stifle Republican attempts to grant a little relief?
If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldnt you do it? the reporter asked.
Why would we want to do that? Mr. Reid snapped back. I have 1,100 people at Nellis Air Force Base that are sitting home. They have a few problems of their own. This is to have someone of your intelligence to suggest such a thing maybe means youre irresponsible and reckless.
Over the next two days, Mr. Reid tried to take back, change, adjust and recalibrate his remarks. Its all John Boehners fault. The senator cares not just about the National Institutes of Health, but the Centers for Disease Control, too. The senator likes babies. In fact, hes quite a stud. And he thinks Dana Bash is a fine reporter.
Listen, I gave a speech on the [Senate] floor, talking about babies, 30 babies. I have 16 of my own grandchildren, and five children. So suffer the little children, and they will inherit the kingdom of heaven; they just cant come unto the Senate while Harry stands in the door. (If what happens in Las Vegas is supposed to stay in Las Vegas, how did Harry get out?)
Harry Reids black heart has, also, been revealed this week. On the list of government closures is the NIH and its cancer research. Something the Republicans are trying to reopen. But, when Harry Reid was asked by a CNN reporter, If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldnt you do it?, he responded, Why would we want to do that?
He’s a commie thug, pure and simple.
This is what happens when you do not vet the ‘Unidentified One’.
The country is now stuck with him, courtesy of our failed legislative branch of federal government.
I wish a high-profile Repub would man up and call 0bama out for this tactic. Oh that’s right, he “knows nothing” about any of this.
Impeachment...
Obama the Street Punk needs impeachin’. Reason!? Not qualified for the job should do it.
Sure is.
This administration’s actions have really tested my resolve to “buy American”. I feel like I’m supporting evil.
How long before Zero starts ordering double taps on Congressional enemies?
The states need to send out their sheriffs and state troopers to arrest these fat-ass federal nazi pigs. What are they afraid of? That the 400-lb SEIU pigs will sit on them? At our tea party meeting back in 2009, the SEIU slobs tried to crash the meeting. They were chased into a building where they locked the door and bawled like babies for the cops to rescue them.
Anyone afraid to confront these leftist, gutless bed-wetters needs to head to the rear to clean shit cans.
Americans don’t cotton much to totalitarian governments. I’m guessing we are getting pretty close to the time to Occupy Federal Parks for a Tea Party ?
I’m not even suggesting that we quit complaining, we should be as loud as we can.
But it seems a fair comparison could be made to the sacrifices all those brave men and women have mad from Revolutionary days all the way through the World Wars, Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, and on and on.
These things today are nothing but a sniffle compared to those sacrifices.
We can ‘tough’ it out, no problem.
This card should be played by the Republicans, with class and sincerity.
Nuthin but a cheap thug and I am being polite...
I do not understand how you score points with ANYBODY by treating them with such contempt.
Politics is truly an irrational profession.
More than usual?
TR road is a state highway so where do the Feds get off closing it? Unfortunately our mayor doesn't have the balls to stand up for us he was on Fox News putting the blame on Congress instead of doing his job. But the fact remains, 0bama is applying pain to people in a national disaster area for political gamesmanship.
I do not understand how you score points with ANYBODY by treating them with such contempt.

Those barricades are not THAT heavy. Several people, working together, could move them out of the way, one at a time.
I wish a dozen able-bodied freshmen Tea Party representatives would pull on their blue jeans, call up some reporters, bring their lawyers, and parade together down to the WWII memorial and MOVE A COUPLE BARRYCADES ASIDE, letting a few of those WWII servicemen in wheelchairs go inside and see what they came to see.
In addition to being the RIGHT THING TO DO (!), it would make for some fine campaign video and five o’clock news fodder.
The Lincoln Memorial is easy to reach, with the streets around it remaining open. But the Martin Luther King Memorial is made difficult to reach, relegating it, you might say, to the back of the bus.
And you bet your bottom dollar that the Regime will blame it on those evil racist Republicans and Tea Party terrorists. See my tagline.
Pee Wee Obama on a camel. Good.
