Tyler Edwards This whole thing is a scam. You're criminals forcing people to purchase something with the threat of prison or fines. Does anybody remember Hitler? You are cowards that hide behind a desk, and rob the American citizens blind of their rights and hard earned income. 196 · October 2 at 2:44pm via mobile
Tim Pierce if you're stupid enough to put all your banking information in to the federal governments computers you are definitely part of the problem 60 · October 2 at 4:41pm via mobile

Bob Ventimiglia I don't have until then. Have to make decision by mid November whether to take a different policy with present insurance policy to pickup when Wife's policy expires and cannot be renewed since its not ACA compliant.
Here in Austin, TX have gotten to login screen three times today, wait is getting shorter, but am still getting a blank screen after getting a quick "authenticating, please wait" message at top left of screen, then nothing but a blank white page and no indication that the browser is waiting for the server to do anything. Attempts to refresh the screen sends me back to the please wait screen. 10 · October 2 at 2:10pm
Janette Hartman I can log in but then I get a blank page. Frustrating 10 · October 2 at 2:01pm via mobile

Lorna Powell Meanwhile small businesses can't even hire employees because people would rather take the government handouts than work. I don't mind helping those who are disabled or unable to work but I have a huge issue with providing for the lazy. 54 · October 2 at 3:25pm via mobile
Cassidy White Would be nice if I could get past the Family & Household section of the application. I keep pressing Save & Continue but it won't move on to the Income section. You need to fix this. I've had to redo it 4 times now. 2 · Yesterday at 9:00am

Steve Logsdon If you want an example of a government-run healthcare system, you need look no further than the VA. And for those of you pointing to the Universal Healthcare in European countries, you may want to look at what they pay in income taxes. 51 · October 2 at 2:44pm
Chris Coulson Matson Lauren, I'm so sorry you are dealing with this debilitating disease. You obviously haven't signed up and been quoted a premium yet. I heard from one gal her monthly premium was $597 and her annual deductible was $13,988. I wish you well with Obamacare. It's not the cure all you think it is. 107 · October 2 at 2:03pm via mobile
Glenn Geisler This is the most preposterous, Unconstitutional, disgusting piece of statist / socialist crap to ever be brought before what used to be honorable American Congress. It is a deprivation of LIBERTY. Since when do we live in a country in which the government tells us what we MUST buy, or fines us if we do not? AND THEN EXEMPTS ITSELF FROM IT??? OBOZOCARE WILL BE THE UNDOING OF THIS ONCE GREAT NATION!!!
Sasha Joy Amara I am a single mother of two, in school and working full time, living 75% below the poverty level, and I DO NOT qualify for a healthcare subsidy. Are you F'ing kidding me???? Where the HELL am I supposed to get $3,000 more a year to pay for this "bronze" health insurance plan!?!??? And I DO NOT EVEN WANT INSURANCE to begin with!! This is frightening. 95 · October 2 at 4:59pm
Andrea Walker Please people wise up and do not register on this website. 43 · October 2 at 2:49pm
Jill Randall Matthew Kennedy - your little story is the biggest load of crap I've read on hundreds of comments on this post. Your parents are starting a business with their savings? Give me a break! Within 24 hrs they are one of the few to not only access the ACA page, but to get rates that they are happy with & "saving money" with? I call bullsh*t! You're probably a hired government hand that trolls online making comments like these so that your fellow sheeples continue believing our gov't is doing anything BUT running this great country into the ground. 38 · October 2 at 9:21pm via mobile
Marianne Lessner Still can't get past Security questions... 27 · October 2 at 1:57pm

David Lawton I have had it.I have spent 2 days trying to set up my account and of course phone help is NO HELP.Obama can shove it !! 33 · October 2 at 2:40pm · Edited
Dana Wilson IMHO if your going to force this crap down out throat your should have your act together and have your web site working. ACA is a joke, just like the idiots that wrote it. Good luck collecting penalty fees. 32 · October 2 at 4:40pm via mobile
It's reminding me more of the communist-era Yugo. Hopefully it provides as much fodder for the late-night TV monologues for years to come.
Colin SimpsonThank you Colin. Your feedback is important to us.health care ..obummer eat my rear
Russell RegoRussell, if you have to ask, you're a moonbat.I've been trying to create an account for 3 days and still no success. Is this how its going to be when I try to get medical attention under the affordable care act?
There is already a page for victims.
www.facebook.com/ObamacareVictims
Would it be feasible to drop current health coverage, stay unisured, pay the penalty, then sign up for the gold or platinum plan if an accident happened since they can’t deny coverage.? Or do you have to enroll prior to every new year?
Nicole FosterBless her heart.I did manage to create an account on Tuesday, but now I keep getting a "HTTP 400 Bad Request" error message when trying to log in. It says the webpage cannot be found.
I was advised to try again during off-peak hours.
I haven't figured out that timing yet but I'll keep trying!
Donald HilbornDear HealthCare.gov, I see people posting unbelievable posts on Facebook indicating that they have received extremely high quotes from the exchanges and posted on this page and not received a response.
Is there a way I can help debunk these statements by looking at all posts on this page or getting an average quote from the exchange?
I’m tired of the whole gimme crowd like her. Theresa Uzhca-perez. This is how we got Obama
WhiteLattina HinoSorry WhiteLattina Hino, no how-true-is-this questions are allowed. There's rumors flying that penalties will be substantial and a tax lien can be filed against your home and your driver's license suspended if you fail to get health insurance???? HOW TRUE IS THIS??
“But.. There are those pesky things called Tax returns due about 6 months before the midterm elections:”
No, because the law doesn’t go into effect until 1/1/2014 which means that you won’t file a return until April 2015 which is well after the mid-terms.
The whole purpose was to get all the insurances packed into one website so you could ‘shop’.................
This is one of the most enjoyable threads ever on FR. Loving it!
Wink Papageorgioui bet there are more than a few trying to jam up the system....keep the faith and what we will receive is worth a little frustration.
It really is a bit of mercy that collectivism is attractive to the dull, thus reducing its lifespan.
Russell, if you do fall ill you will look back at the relative ease of signing up for this nightmare as "the good old days".
Marcin ZmudzkiHang in there HealthCare.gov !!!
Well, she probably things there is a right-wing conspiracy with Teabaggers out there sending denial-of-service attacks to the site to crash it.
The problem’s going to be though that both Cruz and Hillary will pledge to dismantle Obamacare, but Hillary will offer Hillarycare 2.0, a single payer system, to replace it. And all the people complaining about the fact that they have to pay for their health care now will vote for her.
Levi BarnumHey Levi,This is day one people. There's some 40+million people attempting to do something at the same time. Also to note, most of the problems are coming from states like mine that opted out of running the exchanges themselves so the fed has to do it. With limited resources we now have one navigator covering three counties. Thanks gov Scott for playing the party lines. And...it isn't limiting patient choices if you look at the big picture. No physician likes dealing with Medicaid but getting paid something is better than nothing. I grad from med school in two years and I'm thrilled we are doing SOMETHING to reform fee for service even if it means sooooo much extra BS paperwork I get to do. The whole "part time" job thing first of all, started way before the ACA and will most likely level off in a couple years. Economics is cyclical. Stop freaking out. Republicans hate it because they don't want govt to have to deal with it. That's why they want to privatize Medicare, social security....ok not all republicans....but a lot of them. It's not about being evil or helpful, it's about where the responsibility is, they want us to deal with it on our own and leave the govt out of it. It's called laizze-faire govt.
I WAS A YOUNG MAN WHEN THIS COMMENT STARTED!
A tutorial on how to use browser tabs would've been a lot cheaper.
I think we can repeal it before then. I don’t see how the Dems don’t get swept at the mid-terms.
