Law enforcement sources confirmed that Miriam Carey told police in December that she was a prophet, that President Obama would place the city of Stamford under a "lockdown" and that he had her and her residence under electronic surveillance. The encounter led to Carey being taken for a mental-health evaluation.

Maybe Obie had her killed?
She is 34, tha same age as the navy yard EMF shooter.
0bama needs to be put in the rubber room.
“Just because you are paranoid does not mean that they are not out to get you.” ― Joseph Heller, Catch-22
Well, she was correct in that assessment. Dems are starting to realize the harsh reality of what Obama really stands for, and for some, it's too much to handle.
We are doing a disservice giving freedom to the seriously mentally ill. Just as we can’t give freedom to our parents with alzheimers (I have two, living with an angel of a caregiver) or our toddlers (got one of them, too - I don’t let her go for a walk down the street alone!), we should not give freedom to our loved ones and fellow citizens who are mentally ill to the point of breaking with reality. Period.
Anyone who is consistently on meds and perfectly functioning is fine, but there should be a swift test for psychosis and then removal from unsupervised freedom. Families and private organizations can do the supervision for all who are not violent or potentially harmful; then, sadly, we need Cuckoo’s Nests. I say this as someone from a mental health background and I say it sadly because I love freedom, but I’ve thought about this A LOT and freedom isn’t so when you aren’t mentally stable.
There is a lot of grey to be thought through, but we are giving too much freedom to some, at our and their peril.
After the mental health evaluation she was treated with the most current Obombo care approved treatment : a lethal dosage of lead.
Carey apparently did not have a weapon, but did have a 1-year-old girl in the car with her.
Wha?
Authorities who searched Careys apartment in Stamford found risperidone, a medication to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, a law enforcement source said. They also found escitalopram, an antidepressant commonly prescribed under the brand name Lexapro.
I concur. Son worked in the mental health industry etc
I guess she was okay...../s
We have both an emerging mental health problem and a mental health delivery problem. Unfortunately, it is hidden under the political veil of gun control.
I want to know why the Justice Brothers aren’t out protesting in the streets that an unarmed, person of color was gunned down by police?
Ok, so she say’s ‘President Obama would place the city of Stamford under a “lockdown” and that he had her and her residence under electronic surveillance’...
during a law-enforcement-initiated mental health evaluation...
and yet...
law enforcement did not notify the Secret Service about her so they could add her name to the list of possible threats to the President.
Difficult for the left to admit there is a problem because it was their over-reaction to a situation that needed tweaked not radically changed that has created the current crisis
Yes it IS a crisis: Just talk with anyone who is currently trying to get help for a loved one.
When will Dems call for closing the car show loophole?
All are equal; yet some are far,far above equal. They are so elevated that to make a funny move within miles of them is a death sentence.
I must ask, if it had been a white female driver would it turn out the same?
I think not.
Another article said that the state social worker said she was just peachy in January. A couple of things: maybe she was on meds and was responding well at that point; and the mentally ill are pretty crafty. I have worked with them, and I know that they are pretty good at knowing what they should say to get a clean bill of health. They are, after all, mentally ill, and at a certain point, it’s like being possessed: they almost end up trying to protect their illness and keep it from being treated. Very strange.
But a social worker should have known that, and in any case, why didn’t they send her for a psychiatric evaluation rather than a chat with the “state social worker?” After all, there was a child involved.
