The DIMS and their allies in the MSM think this is still 1995.
In 1995 the economy was fairly decent—The American people had not endured four years of massive job losses, significant reductions in income, and prolonged economic stagnation; so the whiners that were trotted out garnered some sympathy. This is not the case today.
My business income in 2013 is practically non-existent and I’ve had to rely on savings to a large extent. As such, I really don’t give a flying flip about someone not being able to have their wedding on federal land which, by the way, I as a taxpayer happen to own.
0bama is nothing; nothing at all.
The big guy is acting true to form. He hates Catholics. This is a great opportunity for him to show this intense and deep hatred.
They keep trying to put chaplains in the position of having to choose between God and their military job.

I can’t help notice how what currently is going is eerily reminiscent of what took place in the early days of Nazi Germany.
He hates Catholics.Many on Free Republic hate not necessarily Catholics, but Catholicism too. BUT, if one wants to fight the Obama administration (or the non-Catholic FReepers who diss and diss), they only need partake in the Sacraments mooooooore. Mass is offered daily, and Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is as well. And Confession is offered sometimes daily, but always weekly. And Mary's beads are never difficult to find; they give them away at most churches. So fight the administration with True Power, the Power that Obama seems to hate, Christ Jesus Himself [through the Sacraments].
At one time in the PAST, wasn’t there some thing or other that PROHIBITED the government from making NO rules or laws that would infringe upon the religious freedom of Americans, no matter what.
I forget the name of that (whatever) but I do really miss it. (sarc to the max)
One thing I worry about. We ALL, the vets , swore an oath to preserve and protect that document. Our oath, freely given, was given as we began a specific period of enlistment.
However, if I remember, there was NO TIME LIMIT SPECIFIED ON THE OBLIGATION OF THAT OATH!!
I worry what will happen when millions of veterans suddenly remember the lack of expiration of the oath.
They are all too stupid to live if they don’t use this occasion (the wedding) as an opportunity - to have a pray-in, and have not only their own priest, but every priest in a 100 mile radius, and the bishop(s) as well. They should have media there to document a priest being arrested for performing a sacrement. This is how our enemies have been winning for 50, 60, years - we need to give them some of their own medicine.
Or, as The Thing would say: “It’s clobbering time!”
