Might want to check the section that references subsidies in the Obama law itself...I believe it’s online to access...that would put it to rest one way or the other as there is confusion at how long that will be deducted from the premium.

That indicates the “premium assistance tax credit” changes after year 1.
Your field contact is making stuff up or pulling your leg.
I wish FReepers would refrain from scaring other FReepers with bogus information.
The factual situation is bad enough to contemplate without inventing stuff.
The fact that certain FReepers are unbelievably gullible (witness the bogus email posted repeatedly yesterday — and the “WOW” and “Oh, My God” comments in response) doesn’t help.
