I met a woman named Yvonne in Greenville, South Carolina, where the CNN Express was reporting on the rollout of Obamacare. Yvonne had a big smile and was very excited -- you couldn't miss her.
I first noticed her standing in line, waiting patiently to ask a few questions about health care. Most of the questions I had been asked up until that time revolved around the logistics of signing up, whether they could pick a particular doctor and how much all this was going to cost.
Yvonne, who didn't give her last name, started by telling me that she had been able to get off Medicaid in the past year. Before that, she had been living in her car, intermittently staying with friends. Now she has a place to live, and she's excited about the prospect of finally being able to get private health care insurance for the first time in her life.
Yvonne, 35, told me she works part-time as a hairstylist assistant. She said she makes $9 an hour, which at 20 hours a week works out to about $9,360 a year. She is still impoverished, but considers herself lucky because she's never had a major illness.

Obamacare. Its like a strip mall proctology clinic.
It reminds me of a figure-8 race, with clown cars and Chinese Fire Drills.
The poor reporter missed with Bevin was saying. Where is the money going to come from. The answer, as far as the reporter is concerned is “from the government”. Let’s take that one step further so maybe even a reporter can understand. Where does the government get the money?
As I walked with him, I asked if he could give a single reason -- medically or financially -- for a state not to accept the Medicaid dollars. He thought about it for a moment, and said "none."
I dunno, maybe those states wanted to attempt to hold onto a few remaining strands of freedom from federal tyranny.
They had to pass it so we could know what is in it. And it isn’t what was promised.
From China?
Any Massachusetts-ites out there. How does Obamacare affect Romneycare? Is Romneycare in addition to O-care or replace it?

They are telling people at the top of the website that the “shut down” is to blame for some of the innaccurate numbers on their Part D listings and MAPD listings.

Saul Goodman, attorney at law and proctologist.
Just call Saul, he does it all.
Oh wait....
Dr. Saul: “OK, when the tapeworm sticks his head out and demands his lemon cookie, you wallop him with the wooden mallet.”
“$750.00. You can pay on your way out and we’ll get you your subsidy refund ASAP.”
Where did this woman get the money to buy a computer? Where did she get the money to pay for her internet access? Inquiring minds want to know.
What? She was standing in line, he didn’t go to her house.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the author of this article, is the cable TV House Doctor on CNN, he’s a liberal, and was a big Obama supporter. I wonder how he feels now. From the article that he has penned here, it looks like his idealistic bubble has burst, and stone cold reality has hit.
So you don’t pay taxes?
