It is a grassroots organization. How do you think the RINOs took over?
The current crop of RINO neocons rode in with the Moral Majority as Reagan Democrats. Oh it was a joyous time and the tent was big. In my county’s chapter, there once were 20 people identifying with the MM. Now, there is one left. Let that sink in. ONE! About all of the allegedly former Democrats stayed while the Old Guard fell to their mortality. The neocons think they can outlast the TEA Partiers and the Liberty Caucus people who are now controlling most of the counties and the district, just like the MM who were “too pure” or more likely too lazy to continue.
So, are you going to try to help?
You are wrong, the social conservatives are what moved the GOP right under Reagan and who the rinos fight still today.
The rinos have always owned the republican party, that is why it was so repulsive. Reagan was a conservative and brought in the conservatives, defeating HW Bush in 1979, unfortunately, the rinos have remained in control.
Rinos despise social conservatives, the Reagan republicans and desperately want to rid the party of them.
Money, money, money, and "conservatives" compromising what should never be compromised. I know. I watched it happen up close and personal.

Why would I want to help an organization that even you admit has been taken over by "RINO"s?
You're fooling yourself if you think you can take it back. Their control has deepened, not loosened. Have you paid no attention to what happened last year in Tampa, or what has happened since? Shoot, they're even embedding RNC minders in the state parties now.
Don't worry though. They'll be more than happy to let you take lower level positions, or to tinker around with the platform they ignore. They do need useful idiots and cannon fodder.
Just don't try to get uppity though. They'll crush you like a bug.
If there is problems with grassroots...
well one way to fix it is to sow better grass.
