it would be more humane for everyone to get questionable people locked up or committed to mental institutions.

Once you open the door for the above, you will eventually be deemed "questionable" for being a member of FR. Be careful. You just might get what you wish for.

This woman does not fit the usual description of the crazy woman doing suicide by cop. Educated, working, caring for her baby. People with mental issues serious enough to cause this sort of event typically don’t have stable employment in a profession, usually have a history of contact with law enforcement, have demonstrated unstable behavior before with family, friends and strangers.

The whole thing is just bothering me. It isn’t adding up.

On the other hand, the Virginia Tech shooter, the lady driving yesterday, Aaron Alexis, James Holmes, Jared Laughner, Dylan Kliebold, Adam Lanza, sounds like all or nearly all of these people were recipients of psychotropic drugs. So, there were already alarms about these people. Doesn’t mean all or the majority of mentally ill or even psychotic people are dangerous but apparently some are and there is probably something that can be done about it.
