Can only mean one thing..they are protecting themselves or someone else.
It was crazy! From what has been pieced together so far, it does look like the cops over reacted...big time! I can understand in today’s age, but they are supposed to be trained better than that. I see these kinds of chases all the time and they don’t end up being shot like that. Sometimes they even back off a chase to let the driver calm down and follow with helicopters.
They had to know she had a baby in car too. They saw it before she took off and right before she was shot out of sight of footage from Al Hurrah. Perhaps they thought they had to save the child by shooting the mom which could be understandable. But then that doesn’t make sense because every window in car was blown out! Doesn’t look like they were that worried about the baby in car. Who knows.
We do know the car was not leased, if report is correct, therefore they probably had a name and photo within the time frame of events. Am speculating ... truth is, I do not know.
Here is some speculation based upon the theory presented ... Diana II?
If the car was her “weapon”, then the threat should have been over when her car got snagged on an island. But she was shot dead AFTER that point.
Unless they thought there was some other threat, they overreacted very badly.
