Barackades works some fun in the written form, but barrycades rolls off the tongue with panache.

Voted up.
I saw it earlier today as a Twitter hashtag: #Barrycade. Sixteen minutes ago @DCDude1776 tweeted that the word was on Urban Dictionary.

Just out of curiosity, is there any law actually permitting the closing of a national park because staff has been cut? I know there are some public safety provisions - such as if there was an outbreak of the plague in a portion of the park, they can close that section, but I have been searching through the laws, and I honestly can’t find anything that permits a shut down. Plenty of text in the law actually requiring access.
Natural disasters, emergencies, etc, those are all down in the laws as permissible to close a national park. But I just can’t find anything about permission to close it down in the event of the lack of a budget.
It would be most entertaining to walk past a barricade and have someone threaten arrest for trespassing, and then simply ask ‘show me a law that grants you permission to deny me access.’

I checked Urban dictionary to see barrycade and damnit they still don't your BARRYSTROIKA.
So I added it. It's being "edited" and will likely be rejected because I defined it as Obama's drug-addled ego version of perestroika that helped bring down the U.S.S.R.
I just said that it orignated on Free Republic five years ago. (That also will probably get it banned.)

I nominate the word ‘Marxocrat’ to replace the term ‘Democrat’, because Democrats are now full-fledged Marxists. John F. Kennedy would agree.
