Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) sought to clarify comments he made in a testy exchange with a reporter on Wednesday, after conservatives pounced on what they portrayed as a serious government shutdown gaffe.

[ “This is to have someone of your intelligence to suggest such a thing maybe means youre irresponsible and reckless.”
I missed that part. Was that direct to Dana Bash?
That arrogant, wussie bastard Dingy said it to the woman reporter who asked him a simple question.
Does his bicycle have the backpedal option installed?
Well, he is a leading democRAT. And their mascot is...?
Reid still hasn’t defended his penchant for little girls...
Doesn’t Harry deserve to live in the Ritz-Carlton?
Sort of warms your heart.
A poster needs to be made. Have it split down the middle or even diagonally with Bash on one side and Reid on the other. Then have the each one captioned with:
If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldnt you do it?” (for Bash)
Why would we want to do that? for Reid.
Make sure the pic of Reid is of him with the scowl of contempt.
It's not an act.
Lets not criticize Hairy for his comment; lets empower the churches, neighborhoods and families to do the lifting for the poor and hurting and not expect it from the govt.
In a just world, all the research and treatment would indeed be private. Nonetheless, Harry Reid has indicated that he is willing to hold young cancer patients hostage rather than get a piecemeal NIH funding bill through the Senate. #senilepriorities
The Atlantic Wire is trying to save Reid.
Come On, No. Harry Reid Doesn’t Hate Kids with Cancer

“In the video, it’s clear that Reid was responding to the point brought up by Schumer why fund kids with cancer, while ignoring, say, other vulnerable kids, or other populations impacted by the shutdown? Why choose? This has been the Democrats’ stock response to variations on this question, usually from Republicans on the House floor. But Reid’s answer, with a testy tone and a follow-up insult to a reporters’ intelligence, caught on. This is how the exchange was picked up by Buzzfeed:”

“The fact that the talking point works is, in part, Reid’s own fault. Reid has a long-documented history of saying mean things, including to reporters like CNN’s Bash. And while Reid’s comments are abrasive, their status as a chess piece in a game for public sympathy is at best disingenuous. Of course Harry Reid doesn’t hate kids with cancer. That’s not even what he said. Even though that point should be obvious, he’s since defended himself by saying the remarks were taken out of context.”
Dana Bash later said that in asking the question she was “playing devil’s advocate”. In other words, Bash was apologizing for straying from the socialist plantation.
It is now official...
It is on record, filmed, recorded..
HARRY OWNS THESE REMARKS
AND WE WILL CREAM HIM WITH THEM IN 2014 and 2016...
trust us Harry...we mean what we say...
Wow. She was “playing devil’s advocate”. That’s our unbiased, impartial media for ya. I bet if anyone looked, we’d find little 666’s on their scalps.
but....HARRY'S REMARKS ARE A PRIME EXAMPLE FOR TERM LIMITS, AND AGE MATTERS...
HARRY REID SHOULD BE MADE TO R E S I G N...NOW
There will be a 90-minute special tonight entitled, “What Harry Reid said and what he really meant to say and why the hater-GOP racist Cruz-bots want him to kill him,” on all networks and cable station.
“So what if I don’t want to cure a kid with cancer? The GOP wants to kill everyone’s grandmother.”
Well, that’s a good point. He’s just rarely been so brazen about it.
