There are now reportedly a total of 18 House Republicans ready to throw in the towel in the current battle over Obamacare in order to end the first government shutdown in 17 years. As TheBlaze reported on Tuesday, Democrats needs just 17 GOP lawmakers to defect from the majority of Republicans in the House to pass a “clean” continuing resolution that fully funds both Obamacare and the federal government.

I do know this: We aren't gonna get ANYWHERE when the Speaker comes out and makes a 2 minute statement with no attacks on the dems....and then Pelosi and Reid sit up there an FILIBUSTER for 10+ minutes and do nothing but slam the GOP.

These nancy boys better learn how to take off the gloves or this is OVER.

The proof is that the GOP isnt caving, smart guy.

Yet.

If Boehner, true to form, however, caves, now the Dems have 18 treachourous cowards that will vote with them.

They could have 18 that are willing to switch, but the speaker still has to bring a bill to the floor.

I just tried to call Bill Young and there’s no answer and no VM.

I wanted to then email him and I think I have to be a constituent. I’ll do it anyway.

The FBI. They are trying to figure out how to pass a lib bill without getting their fingerprints on it

And if the dems will keep them from reaching a 2/3 vote on each of the little bills then skip the fast-track and go to the procedure that only requires a 50% vote.

If that takes until next year..... well, that’s how the dems forced it to be.

In the meantime, let’s catch Obama telling his people to make everybody hurt as much as possible. Expose these spiteful jerks for what they are.

“The zip code entered indicates that you reside outside the 13th Congressional District of Florida. Due to the large volume of US mail, emails and faxes I receive, I am only able to accept messages from residents of the 13th District.”

Ahole.

If they cave, it will mark the official demise of the Republican Party.

There was a vote in the House today on a Motion To Recommit that could have brought a "clean CR" up to be voted on.
NONE of these guys voted for it. NONE.

Is that proof enough?

Sure, these guys will be the first to fold, but they're a long way from doing it now.

The fedgov is going to shove down your throats anything they please...

This isn’t your parents America...

Your electoral process has been undermined and compromised by tens of millions who entered illegally, all aided and abetted by corrupt government.

The republicans and democrats are riding in the same limo...

Get with it.

No they're not, there one slim self-politically advantageous scenario away from caving.

Don't fool yourself.

OK I just gave it the once over, here are the bare facts.

Over half are from PA, NJ and NY. Looks like Peter King’s Gang.

Singles are one from CA, one from ID, one from FL, one from MN.

FOUR are from VA??

Fitzpatrick-PA, Wolf-VA, Grimm-NY, Paulson- MN, Whittman-VA are all secondhand information, no direct statement.

Counting Viennacon’s post #3 regarding Reid Ribble as inconclusive (sorry Viennacon but thats how I read the article) as nowhere in the statement did he say he would vote “Clean Bill.”

Wittman, LoBiondo and Lance are hedging with statements like “it is an option” or if given “an opportunity” it is possible they could vote for a “clean bill.”

To me it looks like the “King Gang” will include about 9-13.

That isn’t enough to accomplish a sellout.

Most of those Pennsylvania ones are definitely not in safe Republican districts. They’re either in union-land or affluent-socially-liberal-soccer-mom land.

Okay. Let them own it. They’ll be out of a job if they want to get re-elected.
