That is outrageous. I have never had a problem with JWs or Mormons or any other door-to-door ministry. A couple of times I’ve talked with them, but usually I simply say, “no thank you” and close the door. I have never needed to defend myself. I have lived in (and had JWs knock) 5 different states.

The guys reaction and your response are both over the top.

The voice of reason is mostly missing on this thread, thanks for yours, wow. I just politely turn these people away, I’ve never had a problem. From the responses here one would think they’d wandered into some lefty religious hating blog.

The bible tells us to go into the highways and byways and COMPEL them to come in. (Luke 14:23)

Most Christians do not do this.

When the Lord brings folks directly to our door; the LEAST we could is to SHARE the Gospel with them.
