I got a facebook notice from OBX that Oregon Inlet Fishing Center (Outer Banks, NC) was closing yesterday. Boats couldn't dock if they had left for fishing. It looks like it has to do with the government shutdown. I didn't know the fishing center had anything to do with the feds. Maybe it's on the Hatteras National Seashore lands.
I'm seeing how much land is really under federal jurisdiction in this country.
