As far as I understand it, the AARP is one of the providers of health insurance policies that are approved for the exchanges. I found a Forbes article this morning that describes it in more detail. I have yet to read it, but here is the link:

Heck yeah! Think about it....

- Employers have an expense for insuring employees. They can either choose to insure their employees at 2X current policy prices (due to extended HHS demands on what needs to be covered) or pay the penalty, which is cheaper. Which are the employers going to choose?

- Employees that are removed from their employers' policy can either get new insurance through the exchange or pay a fine. The fine is cheaper. Which will the employee choose?

So, yes, Affordable Care Act, makes it VERY easy for the employer to cut costs and it makes it VERY easy for the individual to decide to go without.

Well, WE play politics for keeps here on FR so let's get people that are interested in taking back all levels of Gov't from each state, or better yet each Congressional District and run a 2014 campaign on a common theme just like the MSM montages that are trumpeted each day per WH commands.
