Oh really, what the heck was she doing there? I know the woman is a total political whore. That was why I made my comment!”

I think we're on the same page.

I don't care whether we win via the front door or the back door as long as Obamacare gets kicked out the door.

“Total political whores” can be forced to vote right on individual issues. It's the ideologically committed leftists — the ones who are willing to fall on their swords and lose their seats doing what they (wrongly) think is the right thing — who can't be worked with.

I'll take a good vote from a Democrat any day, regardless of the reasons. After all, as the old saying goes, “hypocrisy is the tribute vice pays to virtue.”

We certainly agree that if the Republicans aren't united we can't expect Democrats to fold (with a few exceptions like the West Virginia senator on coal-related issues).

But if we can get the Republicans to vote right, we still have to get enough Democrats on board to get to 50 percent in the Senate and actually send a bill to President Obama to fund the rest of government except Obamacare, and then force him to use his veto pen.

That is where people like Sen. McCaskill can be useful.

She will never vote to de-fund Obamacare. But with constituent pressure, she may be willing to vote to fund everything except Obamacare.

Absolutely spot on.

It’s always better when you can use a Useful Idiot for a GOOD purpose for once - and they’re too stupid to know the difference...
