Today, a big Harry Reid supporter -- who funneled more than $130,000 to Reid in 2007 -- was sentenced to two years in prison for campaign finance violations. Harvey Whittemore, a lobbyist and developer, used "straw donors" to contribute to Reid's campaign.
Of course, Reid claims that he knew nothing about all the wrongdoing. Of course, that's what he always says.
When a businessman was indicted earlier this year, claiming that Utah's Attorney General helped broker a deal in 2010 in which the businessman believed he was to pay Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid $600,000 to make a federal investigation go away, Reid's office just declined to comment.
Shady land deal? Nah, just Reid working for the good of his constituents.
Conflicts of interest surrounding Reid's dealings in green energy? Nothing to see here, folks.
Family members lobbying Reid for their clients? Don't worry about it -- after being exposed by the Los Angeles Times, Reid stopped it.
Free tickets to boxing matches? Not a problem.
So given Reid's history, it's perfectly understandable that, of course, he knew nothing -- nothing! -- about the dirty dealings on his campaign's behalf.
Dingy Harry should be spending life in prison....filthy POS.
This guy is a crook.
Thank you again Nevada for returning this POS to the Senate in the last election.
msm will not foam with this news, no they won’t.
Is he a pedophile too?
< /SARC>
He is such a hateful looking man.
Anybody who even gives a legal donation to Harry Reid should go to jail IMO.
He’s a fellow Marxist so PravdABDNC will look the other way.
It's as if Nevada dumped their sewage on the rest of the country.
He sure is
it’s all for sale in the obama administration
