JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville International Airport was evacuated Tuesday evening because of two suspicious packages found there, according to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority, and witnesses say two men were taken into custody.

I posted this as well, but my thread was pulled. Any insight as to why? I posted about 10 minutes ago....On an unrelated note, this show of force seems quite impressive. All aircrafts have been diverted if airborne. Ground Stop and the report is that US AIR flight 3202 had a passenger removed by TSA and subsequently arrested.

I live near JAX and I have always been surprised that there hasn’t been a big attack in Florida.
The entire state of Florida, in fact, is stuffed with things of military importance, tech centers - and Middle Eastern Muslims.

Knew someone on a flight yesterday, Philly to Vegas. Foreign looking guy holed up in RR for 40 min. came out and was opening overheads 10 rows back from his seat. Acted arrogant and belligerent when FA’s questioned what he was doing.
