It’s an organized, Pavlovian conditioning they’re doing. Demonize the gun, and terrify the kid.
My strategy: Take a kid to the range, let him shoot REAL guns safely and properly, and by the time he grows up, you’ll NEVER get it out of his hands.
I’ve done it. I’m still doing it. It works.
Every single gunny out here on FR should be doing this as well.
This is how you counter the bullsh*t mind games the liberals are playing.
More parents who deserved this insanity because they were unwilling, too busy, too cheap, did not really care enough to do 1, 2 or 3 below:
1) Home School if you have the time and ability
2) Private school if you have the money
3) Non-union Charter school
Folks there really is no other option unless you are perfectly willing to let unionized teachers implement the very last items in the Communist Manifesto. They have been laying the ground work for decades and the vast majority of the country never noticed or didn’t care.
Sending your child to government school is child abuse but don’t worry, government will give you a pass on this one.

Governor O’ Malley & Gov wantabe ___ in Virginia will probably call for law requiring the amputation of the thumb and 1st finger of all citizens to ensure they do not make ‘gun signs’ and thus scare people and teachers.
