A total of 21 Transportation Security Administration officers at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport have now been arrested following the investigation into stolen employee parking passes.
The probe started several months ago with an undercover investigation by the airport's Department of Public Safety. The last arrests were made over this past weekend.
Investigators found an American Eagle worker had stolen 129 parking passes for employee parking lots and recruited TSA officers to sell the passes to co-workers for $100 apiece.

TSA agents are a couple steps below security guards at the mall. Although they rank very high on the arrogance meter. Should have never been federal unionized workers.

They ought to look at the baggage “security” inspectors whose greatest fringe benefit is being able to steal whatever they want from travelers’ baggage.

I wonder - is every TSA employee considered an “officer”? Pretty impressive.
We’re talking about people who grew up getting trophies just for showing up. Of course they are all going to be officers.
While there are of course a few exceptions the vast majority of government employees could not hold a job at McDonalds.
They need that union style protection for the useless in society.
I met some great ones at Defense Mapping who would not even let me buy them a cup of coffee while I was training them less it be considered a bribe. They will always be notable in my mind as the exception to government workers.

I think this is the tip of the iceberg. The TSA is perfectly positioned for this type of thing. They are in constant communication with each other with portable radios, many are undereducated opportunists who could not get other employment, and they have access to secure areas of airports where they can ply their trade out of public view. So far they have engaged in stealing property, human trafficking, theft, sexual harassment, and assault.
