the media will try to use the shut down to demonize Republicans . it’s about the election of 2014 .the media is trying to help democrats win the House too.

Well if Republicans are on record calling for a shutdown in public (on camera and in writing) then Dems got a pretty easy job if its their advantage that voters know that, if they now make believe they were always against one.
They should know now-a-days that their are these things called vids and cable and internet that comes back when they try to change their stories.,
That might explain why Dems are taking a 'no compromise' position on this.
