The Obamacare stuff is largely smokescreen. What is REALLY going on is a bipartisan bust of the Sequester. The CR proposals so far would spend far beyond the Sequester limits.

So, in essence, republicans caved, we are screwed.
It should contain shutdown of Obamacare AND Department of Education.
The one after that should contain shutdown of Obamacare, Department of Education AND Deparment of Labor, ect.

According to Drudge, what’s REALLY going on is that this is diverting our attention while Paul Ryan and the rest of the RINO group are working on a bill to give amnesty to illegals.

This iterative sending of CRs by the GOPe makes the Republicans look weak. Reid says no and the GOP makes him look strong. This is like negotiating with ourselves and each turn of the screw makes the Republicans look worse and worse.

As far as I’m concerned I think Obama blinked when he came out with a statement. That was filled with lies, by the way. He said VA benefits won’t suffer then turned around and, off teleprompter, said some guy sitting at the VA helping someone buy a house won’t be at work.
Didn’t you hear the one? He said defunding obamacare will prevent women from being able to get contraceptives. I guess if obamacare is defunded Walmart will have to stop selling condoms.

Both houses will vote at 10:30 and 10:50 on a “compromise” (surrender) CR that will continue our farcical non-budget for another year, completly fund 0bamacare with no delay on the individual mandate, and will announce an intent to “convene a bipartisan panel to study amendments” to 0bamacare.
All in time for the 11:00 news.
There won’t be shutdown. The kabuki theater will play out like it always does. It’s actually more haragei than kabuki.
Cruz said it would contain a one year delay for individual mandate like large corps and remove the Congress exemption. We’ll see...
