Hardly a day has passed in three years since the law was enacted that Schultz has not touted its magnificence on his radio show and cable program on MSNBC. Those familiar with Schultz's huff-and-puff shtick know that he's got another soft spot -- for labor unions. (Audio after the jump)
So it didn't come as a total shock to hear Schultz on his radio show yesterday make a jaw-dropper of a suggestion -- that unions are exempted from Obamacare mandates and should instead stick with existing contracts.

Oh, they will be.
A post here about a year ago mentioned that Ed Schultz receives about $200,000 annually from unions for his advocacy.
Which amounts to a drop in the bucket compared to the costs of Obamacare.
Can I become a member of the union?
Go ahead. Do it. I dare them. I double dare them.
Obama seems hesitant to try that one. At least right now.
The GOP would be wise to take some advice from Gov. Walker of WI on how to handle the unions and thugs like Ed Schultz. And they are THUGS.
But the GOP tries too hard to play nice & fair. And they lose that battle time & time again.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a bigger tool. Useful idiot.
Just re-declare the entire nation a “union”, and exempt ourselves.
Obama has already shown the door to Trumka, et al.
It is so unconstitutional in so many ways, Roberts has to be a plant, both vegetable and demon.
That’s a great idea! Create the “Americans Who Actually Work” union.
No one cares what his diseased mind wants. A zombie in a sci-fi movie has clearer thoughts.
On MSNBC? It's 24/7 useful idiots.
Let him dig his way out of that.
I am a member of the newly formed Dot Net Developers Local 10110010101001, and although I am (at present) its only member, I WANT MY EXEMPTION.
Hey Fast Eddie!
Did you really kill your hunting dog in a fit of drunken pique?
Does your ex wife Maureen still have a restraining order against you? Why?
Oh, I don’t know. I’m not that interested. The whole thing is going to fall apart at one point, for everyone. I’m not a grabber/scrambler like these guys.
The kids are going to end up paying for all of this or just let the country completely fail, out of being overwhelmed. they’re whom we need to help and train.
The best bet is to diversify assets.
Tell your kids they’ll need to pay for school, and get that scam out of third party (parent) payer and lower costs - it’ll take a while; but at least, put that away for retirement, or the kids will end up paying for that anyway - they’re already paying 25% of their checks for SS they’ll never see..
Diversify skills, so one job can go to another.
Purchase quality items that last, take care of them, and find good repair guys.
And take care of your own health. Find a good preventive specialist - the good gyms are in on this. Obesity carries so many complications it’s no wonder it wasn’t a problem before third party payer (see if you can find a photo form the ‘30s with obese people in it). Get smart on nutrition, exercise and just get catastrophic health care.
Third party payer is what got this thing rolling then LBJ started Medicare which was a disaster, still is. It’s what caused this (Obama is just taking advantage).
Now they want us to pay for the uninsured. $385 is the projected cost per moth per working person.
No.
And the Unions and congress think they’ll get out of it, pushing higher cost onto us? And they think they won’t feel it in the end with our children unable to make it?
Well, if Reid defines happiness as retiring his ugly self in hiding with billions of extorted funds, if that’s his plan, then power to him, I guess.
And the unions want a similar deal? It’s not going to work out. They’ll be just as screwed and thrown out by these guys as the rest of us, once they’re not needed, as we are not.
Rules are for thee, not for me, sayeth the liberal.
Sorry Eddie. They wanted it, they got it. Good and hard.
