Well, this is not just a bit scary. Raising his fist in a black power salute during his swearing in, the newly elected mayor of Jackson, Mississippi was true to his character as a former leader of the black supremacy group, Republic of New Afrika. The group is dedicated to transforming five of the Southern states into an independent socialist black nation. Jackson Mayor Chokwe Lumumba, born in Detroit as Edwin Finley Taliaferro, is a radical activist, and co-founder of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement. Hes, also, being praised by the Nation of Islam, who wrote in their publication, Final Call, that the seeds of a black nation are already taking root in Mississippi.
According to WND,
Voters in Jackson, Miss., a mid-sized city in the heart of the Deep South, have picked a Democrat as their mayor. Whats different about this individual is that he is a former leader of the Republic of New Afrika, a group dedicated to creating an independent black nation out of five southern states.
Now leading the city of about 175,000 is Chokwe Lumumba who has a long history of radical activism and whose plans for the largest city in Mississippi could be called revolutionary.
A co-founder of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, which promotes black self-determination, Lumumba was sworn in on July 1, after winning 86 percent of the vote in the general election.
He had won the Democrat nomination with 54 percent of the vote.
Despite what could be considered an overpowering victory, Jacksons business owners are extremely concerned with Lumumbas proposals for the city.
One of Lumumbas primary goals as mayor of Jackson is to create a solidarity economy in the city. According to a report published by the Belfast Telegraph, a solidarity economy is an umbrella term used to describe a wide variety of alternative economic activities, including worker-owned co-operatives, co-operative banks, peer lending, community land trusts, participatory budgeting and fair trade.
Lumumba also has earned the highest praise from the Final Call, the official publication of the Nation of Islam, which called his electoral victory one of the most important progressive political victories on a long list of important political leaders.
Further in the article, Final Call noted that: the seeds of a Black Nation have already taken root in the state where Mr. Lumumba is mayor of the capital city.
Lumumba discussed this idea of a Black Nation forming in Mississippi with Final Call and what can be done to bring it to life.
Some of (the counties) are as much as 80 percent black. So, demographically we have a solid, a non-self-governing territory. What we need to do in that area and actually what our people have begun to do, Mississippi has more black elected officials than any state in the United States and if we can now give that some political content, some direction in terms of what we want to do in terms of taking these electoral victories, these economic victories and teach the message that we know from long ago, of self-determination, of self-governance, self-economic development, Lumumba stated.
In addition, he calls this area of Mississippi the Kush District, and he raised his fist in a black power salute at the ceremony where he was sworn in as mayor.

Zimbabwe here we come!
So the entire Southeast United States will look like Detroit?
GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY!!!
Reading this reminds me, I need to by more ammo!
Since 40% of Mississippi is Black, this dream might come true a lot faster than people realize.
They couldn’t even get the confederate flag taken off of the state flag in 2001.

He doesn’t want Arkansas and Tennessee? What’s wrong with this guy?
It really doesn’t matter, though. Within a year he’ll be in prison for taking bribes.
This is what happens when blacks take over. In the early 70s I knew white people who were starting to move from the Delta up to NW Arkansas. They saw what was coming. And they were right. The Delta is a place I never want to see again.
“So the entire Southeast United States will look like Detroit?”
No, just smell like it. At least untill all the bodys can be burned.
‘Lumumba also has earned the highest praise from the Final Call, the official publication of the Nation of Islam, which called his electoral victory one of the most important progressive political victories on a long list of important political leaders.’
WAIT HE’S A MOOSIE TO...?
WELL IM NOT CONVINCED TILL I HEAR JOE AND MIKA WEIGH IN ON THIS GUY....THOSE TWO ARE RIGHT ON EVERY EVERY THING...
White voters have very high turnout.
Also, they vote more than 80% Republican, which is, or used to be, the highest state percentage in the country.
Will they have a half white president?
If white voters have such high turnout, and they vote 80% Republican, then how did this seditious, communist muzloid get elected?
Read post #6, where it says 40% of Mississippi is black. Close to 100% of blacks voting Dem, plus 20% of whites, equals Dem victory.
Jackson, Mississippi is 80% Black.
Patrice was a Pan-African idealist and an anti-colonialist (against Belgium in his country).
Most early African leaders were openly Marxist, but Patrice never publicly declared himself on that issue.
After a few months in office, the pro-Belgium Congo military revolted against Patrice Lumumba.
Patrice appealed for help to the USSR, but aid did not arrive in time.
Patrice was overthrown, imprisoned, beaten and tortured (allegedly by the CIA and Belgium secret service), and quickly executed in 1961.
Exactly! I used to have faith that people would react as we reached a tipping point and prevent this country from destroying itself. I don’t have that faith anymore. Nothing seems to stir the people up to take action.
Oh sure, we march; we complain to our “representatives”; we write letters, articles and such, etc. But does it do any good? NO, a thousand times NO. What will it take for people to realize they will soon be under a dictatorship (if not already)?
Oh well, back to American Idol (or whatever garbage Acirema is watching).
All I can say is, “It ain’t gonna happen.”
Close to it.
