Who actually wrote Obamacare? I can’t seem to find a definitive answer.

When this mess goes down the crapper, Democrats are going to own it lock, stock, and barrel.

I am thinking that if bamcare isn’t repealed, the only option is for millions to defy the edict and go uninsured, accompanied by tens of thousands of lawsuits clogging up the courts claiming this exemption and that. And you wondered why they bought two billion rounds.

Folks, now that the Senate has done us a great favor, we can focus again on the House. That's where this will be won or lost. And I think there is a fair chance that we can eke some victory out of this.

As for the Senate, they were never going to vote for cloture. It was really just a question of how many senators would vote with the people, and how many would do as they normally do and vote to screw everybody else. Well, we got our answer: 19 voted with the people, which is actually 4 more than I expected. But more importantly, we now know exactly WHO the Patriots are and who the cowards and kakistocrats are.

But wait. It doesn't stop there. Today's vote was really a two-fer, the gift that didn't stop giving! At no time in my life have the political differences been so stark, the choices so obvious, and the villainy so apparent. Today, the majority of gop members in the Senate stood up and did something I never really thought they would do: they publicly murdered their own political party.

Exactly. You need to let the country know that you are working on dumping obamacare. This time might not do it, but we will continue, non-stop, to do it. Why let a minute go by that we don’t remind people how bad it is and how bad it is going to be?

That’s how the dems do things. They keep putting an idea forward. It get’s slammed. The next time it gets a little traction, but it gets knocked down. The next time it gets a bit more attention and it gets defeated. The next time more people are onboard, including GOP idiots like McCain, and it gets more notice.

And so on and so on and so on. And suddenly one day, the walls come tumbling down and 50% of the country supports the initial crazy plan, and shortly thereafter, it becomes law.

Elapsed time? 20 years or 10 years or 5 years or 1 year doesn’t matter to them. They keep pushing and pushing as long as it takes without letup until the lie catches on and they WIN!

Why can’t we play that game?

Until now, we were always reacting to their push. We had no clue how to win over minds. They use continual repetition but we can use continual education to show them that our view is the better one.

The dems like good commies plan years ahead. We are then forced to react.

We don’t plan our battles, we react to their offense.

I think Cruz and Lee understand this. It’s OK if you loose some battles since you will live to fight again. And one day you will win.

It's time to stop worrying about the Republican Party and go to war for America's sake.

This is an excellent commentary on the matter.

Cruz has brought attention to the negative side of Bambicare better than almost anyone in the past years.

Now if the so called GOP insiders would just stop their whining, realize the moment, the message would travel to almost everyone in the US.

I know, I know, but I can dream......it's STILL good what he did.

The old GOP died when Romney lost in 2012.

We are just now finally casting off the dead weight of the old GOP.

Their lingering stench was decreased a lot this week by nice cool breezes coming out of TEXAS and Utah.

“... the Republicans will begin to feel the heat from their constituents over lack of services back home, ...”

As I've mentioned in related threads, if the federal government was complying with its constitutionally limited powers, one of the few things that citizens would actually be inconvenienced with in the event of a federal government shutdown is the temporary distuption of the US mail service.

Otherwise, most other government services that federal lawmakers are now threatening will be disrupted are actually based on 10th Amendment-protected state powers which the corrupt federal government has wrongly stolen from the states.

BTTT... This is exactly right.

This how the left has driven their agenda. They are masters of incramentalism. It's past time that conservatives learn to employ the same psychology in influencing opinion rather than laying all the cards out on the table and never deviating from them. Time to fight dirty, because that's what it's going to take.
