Exactly. The hornets will have more buddies (squadron mates?) than you will.

The bees increase their respiratory rate which raises the temp and raises the Co2 level.

I don’t think so, and Chinese hands are smaller.

Personally, the bee sting is more painful. Could be the stinger still pumping it`s poison even after i squashed it.

It wasn’t bad. But I was annoyed.

I would be too.
They do sleep. After dark i use a zip lock bag is the nest hasn`t gotten too big and zip them up.
Makes for a great gag if you want to put it in someones mail box but I usually catch and release somewhere out in the woods far away.

I call Photoshopped...... Umm... maybe not. 2 inch body, 3 inch wingspan, 1/4 inch stinger... Something that size needs a warning label... ;-)
The Asian giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia), including the subspecies Japanese giant hornet
(Vespa mandarinia japonica), colloquially known as the yak-killer hornet, is the world's largest
hornet, native to temperate and tropical Eastern Asia. Its body length is approximately 50 mm (2 in),
its wingspan about 76 mm (3 in),[3] and it has a 6 mm (0.24 in) sting which injects
a large amount of potent venom.
