It is an interesting legal question whether a man who fraudently claims to be a Nobel laureate in a legal filing can, in any sense, be defamed.

Here’s hoping Mann is able to destroy his own reputation once and for all by his lawsuit and the sludge it stirs up.
The case that comes to mind is Oscar Wilde’s defamation case in which he ended up ruining his own reputation. Let’s hope history repeats itself for this odious fraud.
