Yes ... the honey did it’s job for a few years. It quit working a couple of years ago. The doctors have been doing all they could to save the leg; he has been in a lot of pain recently and is looking forward to getting this surgery behind him.

Thank you, Amy. You just answered two questions I had. I didn’t know if this was further amputation on the same leg as before, or not, and I wondered about the honey.
I so admire JimRib for many things, and his battle with his physical health has been astonishing. When this surgery has been done, I pray that with the removal of this problem, that he can gain strength in the rest of his physical being. His mental being has always been in top condition!!
We will all be in the OR this coming Monday with him ——— in prayer. I’m sure his Guardian Angel will be there with him, giving him strength, and that God will be guiding all.
