House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, confirmed Thursday that the House will not approve the Senate version of the bill, but he has declined to say how Republicans will respond. The House will likely vote over the weekend, volleying back to the Senate another stopgap bill with roughly 24 hours before a shutdown takes place.

"I do not expect (a shutdown) to happen," Boehner said. "The American people don't want the president's health care bill, and they don't want the government to shut down. Republicans are listening."

Go, Boehner, GO!! Hold the line!! Defund obamacare!!

The GOP needs to turn the Dem’s terminology on its head and start talking about a “clean” bill being one that is free of Obamacare funding, and a “dirty” bill being one that includes Obamacare funding.

If you missed it, Judge Andrew Napolitano was on the Special report panel tonite. He said that if Boehner puts together a coalition of "big-government Republicans and Pelosi Democrats, against the wishes of the overwhelming majority of the House GOP caucus, then Boehner is done as Speaker."

It’s all in God’s Hands at this point. What I see happening is no-one will be able to afford health insurance but the government workers. We’ll ALL be uninsured and broke!

Boehner has a problem. There are genuinely conservative House members that are holding the leadership’s feet to the fire. Holding THEIR feet to the fire are their constituents. The net result is that Boehner does not have the votes to pass a CR that includes obamacare funding. In order to pass it, he would have to join the craven RINOS with Pelosi’s Dims. He knows that dog just won’t hunt, Jim.

Corker blamed the two Republicans for delaying a vote because "y'all have sent out releases and e-mails and you want everybody to be able to watch, and it just doesn't seem to me that that's in our nation's interest."
