(CNSNews.com) - As the people's elected representatives in Washington wrangle over the budget, the debt limit and defunding Obamacare, one freshman senator admits the news is not good.
--snip--
"Eventually, if you're going to defund Obamacare, you're going to have to pass a (repeal) bill because Obamacare is permanent law. It's part of that mandatory spending. And you have to pass a bill through the Senate and have the president sign it into law."

You better read or listen to what he actually said. He is right on the money
I’ll stop asking the government to solve my problems. When will they stop causing them?
Any Senator who votes yes (on Fridays cloture vote) is voting to give Harry Reid the power to fund Obamacare, says Cruz.
He also doesn’t explain that Reid can amend to fund Obamacare. So a vote for cloture is a vote to fund. I wish Greta had pressed him a bit further.
Ron Johnson is one of the guys who let the sale of F-16s go through to Egypt.
I think you could add Johnson to that list.
He told Van Susteren, “We need to start devolving this power back to the states, back to the people, because this place — trust me. I’m from the private sector. I’m a manufacturer. It’s impossible to convey the dysfunction of the federal government and of Washington.”

The man is spot-on correct!
BTW, Johnson is dead wrong about Obamacare being permanent law. He's not talking right.
You can probably find something bad to say about any politician. But Johnson is a fiscal conservative. He has principles, and seems to me to be a person of integrity.
Yes, he seems so. I have some mistrust I’m working on. He will likely vote Yes on cloture.
Good advice, Senator. Now, how will you vote on cloture? You know, that thing that's going to force us all to rely on the federal government, in some cases for our very lives?!?
Same damn high chutzpah some of these guys have, let me tell you.
All of my comments said I thought he would vote no.
At least read what I post before commenting on it
Exactly....and I posted some of his comments that show how he is for smaller government and more personal responsibility.
Please accept my apologies. It was a rhetorical question. In any case, we both know what he did.
Yup he folded like a cheap suit.....We need more folks in the senate who are like Cruz and Paul
My bad...this whole thing has me cranky and apparently I lost my sense of humor.
